(Particle size distribustion can comply with demander's request)
-H.S code :2933.69.9000
-UN. 1328
-HAZARD LEVEL: Class 4.1
This compound is in the shape of white crystal or powder where it is soluble, but its solubility rather decrease when temperature rises because it emits heat. Hexamine generates formaldehyde and ammonium salt by reacting to strong acid while it is in solution state. It also generates RDX, high explosive, when reacting to strong nitric acid; and it also generates complex compounds by bonding with iron, cobalt and nickel. It is widely used for hardener of phenolformaldehyde resin and raw material of RDX.
- Curing agent for phenolic and resorcinol resins.
- Rubber-to-textile adhesives.
- Explosive industry like cyclonite or hexogen(RDX).
- Pharmaceuticals materials.
